Subject   South Korean government¡¯s policy of planned manhunt
...and deportation forced the first two migrant workers to commit suicide

Facing a hard ¡°choice¡± between ¡°voluntary¡± departure and forced deportation, at least two migrant workers committed suicide.
A 31-year-old migrant worker from Sri Lanka, Chiran Tharaka, committed suicide Tuesday at 7.30 pm by jumping into an oncoming subway train at a subway station in Songnam, Gyeonggi-do (province).
Riton, another migrant worker from Bangladesh also took his own life Wednesday by hanging himself at his own workplace in Gimpo, Gyeonggi-do. At 7.55 am his co-workers found him.

We, ETU-MB, hold the South Korean government full responsible for death of both migrant workers! The death of both shows us how criminal are government¡¯s plans for manhunt and deportation beginning of coming Monday!

¡°With as many as 130,000 migrant workers waiting to be deported to their home countries¡±, Korea Times wrote for its today¡¯s edition, there are many among them not willing to wait.
They just want to fight against South Korean government¡¯s policy of planned manhunt and deportation. Members of ETU-MB promised on the last large demonstration before yesterday in Seoul that nobody will be able to stop them to fight for our rights as human being and worker. ¡°Never we will give up our demands for legalization for all migrant workers in South Korea¡±, Kabir Uddin said recently.
South Korean government should better listen to us, before they are getting a big surprise.
