Yesterday’s MSSC Struggle Report (04/02/19)
At first: on Tuesday Mahbub had birthday (see picture 1)! Congratulations belated!
Yesterday actually on our struggle site not so many things were happen.
But some of our Korean comrades visited Samar (pictures you can see on the Sit-in struggle site) in Yeosu and they’ve to learn, that he is “fine at all”, he said. He only hopes for a strong struggle outside. And till now he did good work inside the prison: since before yesterday Andrey, a Russian migrant worker, arrested last year in December in Daegu, Samar’s hunger strike. Since before yesterday in Hwaseong two Mongolians are joining the hunger strike of K.B. and Haq. Yesterday the “authorities” there (“authorities”?? do we accept them? not at all!!) decided to separate them from our comrades and move them to another cell. There are two other Mongolians already in this cell… 하하
Also yesterday we had our second interview with Radio Lora in Zuerich, Switzerland. They wanted to know about the capture of Samar, the connection of our hunger strike (see picture 2) and the raided rally last Tuesday and how groups outside Korea can support our struggle. Next Thursday we’ll continue the interview.
Yesterday 솦숙홍길동 finished the movie about Feb 17 battle in Mok-dong - even the subject is not so nice, not really, the movie is great! Also yesterday Samar wrote new letters – later we’ll publish here. And not to forget: y’day 투쟁과 밥 (see picture 3) were cooking for us: delicious and the later performance (like the International in Japanese, see picture 4
And we’ve a very bad news: yesterday in the evening immigration officers raided the area and arrested 21 of our supporters. The massage is clear: they, as we expected some days before us and our supporters – they want to scare the potential participants of our Sunday’s (hopefully mass-) demonstration! But they will fail – IF WE, AND OUR STRUGGLE FOR A FUTURE WITHOUT EXPLOITATION AND OPPRESSION GET ENOUGH SOLIDARITY!!! By the way: this is also the reason for today’s changing of the rally place (now 2pm in Myeong-dong)
