Yesterday’s MSSC Struggle Report (04/02/20)
As we already wrote, we’d a rally – a very successful rally on our struggle site in 명동. In the night we were invited for the solidarity party (일일호프) to support the struggle of irregular workers. Beside the very great atmosphere we’d to learn that at least from now we, migrant workers, ETU-MB members, are a respected, inseparable part of the South Korean working class. A really great experience!
We had there many good conversations and discussions with representatives from different in the KCTU organized unions, like the Korean Tower Crane Operators Trade Union (KTCOTU, see pict. 2), with the former KCTU president Dan Byeong-ho and the present, Lee Soo-ho (see the last picture). Many workers promised us, that they will join our struggle in general, and our rally tomorrow special.
After, because of security reasons we had to leave the party early, we had some good discussions with the construction workers, sharing with us Myeong-dong compound, and one of their supporters.
Several of our comrades joined in Osan a Struggle Culture Festival, to where we were invited in the morning.
Right now everyone is busy to prepare for tomorrow’s rally. We are sure it will be a massive public confession of our strong determination, that we will fight until we achieve everything what we want and demand!
Right now we got the information, that in the detention centers 9 migrants are in hunger strike. Additional to our comrades 4 Mongolians in Hwaseong and Andrey from Russia is joining Samar’s struggle. STRUGGLE UNTIL VICTORY!투쟁!
