Don't make the death of our comrades senseless!
November 13, 1970 Jeon Tae-il commited suicide by burning himself, shouting "Don't make my death senseless", "Fight for the labor basic law". After his death, general workers' rally have been held every November to pay a tribute to the memory of Jeon Tae-il and to demand the ongoing strong struggle.
9th of this month (November) <Nationwide general workers' rally> will be held on City Hall Plaza by KCTU. hopefully about 100,000 Korean and migrant workers from all over the country will join the rally and struggle strongly.
Nowadays South Korean government and capitalists are oppressing all workers: massive demands by South Korean capitalists for compensation to workers (because of strike caused "losses"), dismissals, restrictions, police terror against unionists, their arrests are on the agenda and mass deportation of migrant workers will be happen soon
During the last month, 3 workers committed suicide because of oppression of union activities from government. Also one worker is serious conditions because of burning himself.
Bidduth and "Rason" Zamal were arrested during a street fight and they are continuing to struggle in detention center. When police arrested Bidduth, he shouted "Though you arrest me, migrant workers' struggle will be stopped? Never! That makes them only more stronger!"
