"The Internationale" was the soviet union's national anthem for 25 years after  the bolshevik revoloution.
it is recognised  worldwide for being a communist song, regardless of it's original purpose. that is the unanimous perception.
as a foreigner, i too was extremely surprised the first of many times i heard this song at a korean rally.
but the fact remains that a foreign visitor to this site, unfamiliar with this song's popularity here, will assume that the MTU is a union committed to the principles of communism if they hear it broadcast on the site. period.

and do the members of the MTU think it's appropriate? do they really think that german popsongs are also appropriate? did you check with them? i doubt it.
that is the real issue.

>just "the internationale", not "communist.."!
>exactly one week ago, we, together with more than 20.000 korean comrades sang it in the public.
>and by the way, especially here (maybe) it means nothing...(?) even on jcmk events i had to listen this song.
>and the german stuff is just alternative stuff, nothing with communism...
>but anyway, i'll try my best!
