Before yesterday, during the demonstration of migrant and Korean irregular workers (read our article in the section "articles") riot cops arrested Muhammad Bidduth and Jamal Ali, both from Bangladesh.
Today in the afternoon they were tranfered to Mokdong Immigration office. There they will be held until South Korean authorities will make a decision how to treat them. Perhaps they will not be charged (the police, allegedly, have video evidence against them), but just deported.
Therefore we, ETU-MB, are organizing for today, October 28, 1.30 pm a protest rally in front of Mok-dong Immigration Office (subway: Mokdong stn, Bus 325 between Dong-A B/D and Intl Press Center, 129-1 Gwanghwamun). |
