The 3rd Annual Migrant Workers Film Festival Photo Exhibition
주제: 이주민의 시선으로 바라 본 한국 사회의 인권과 문화
Theme: Human rights and cultures of Korea, as seen by migrants.
내용:
1. 입국에서 현재까지 이주민 개인의 역사를 보여주는 사진
ex) 공항에서 찍은 단체사진, 한국에서 만난 동료, 한국에서 보낸 새해 첫 날, 현재 자신의 방, 살고 있는 동네 풍경 등
2. 한국에서 경험한 독특한 문화 체험 및 한국의 인권 문제를 담은 사진
ex) 유적지 방문, 김치 만들기, 집회 참여, 군 입대 하는 청년들, 철거민,
인권탄압 받는 노동자 등
3. 이주민으로 하루의 일상을 그린 사진
ex) 아침식사, 출근하는 길, 여가 활동, 휴일, 월급날 등
Contents:
1. Pictures showing personal history of migration to Korean to present
examples: group pictures taken in the airport at the time of entry;
colleagues befriended in Korea;
The first new year's party in Korea;
Your space in Korea, such as your room or community
2. Pictures showing interesting cultural experience or human right situation in Korea
examples: visits to historial sites;
Making Korean traditional food such as Kimchi;
Participating demonstrations and protests;
Young people enlisting for military service;
Ousted residents;
Workers under unfair human right treatment
3. Pictures showing daily routines
examples:Breakfast;
Commuting to work;
Recreational activities;
holidays and paydays
공모 자격: 국내에 거주하는 모든 이주민
Eligibility: Immigrants living in Korea (including migrant workers, female migrants, overseas students)
공모 기간: 2008년 6월 7일 ~ 2008년 7월 6일
Submission Period: June 7, 2008 - July 6, 2008
작품 편수: 1인 10작품 이내
Number of Works: Maximum ten works per person
작품 규격:
필름 카메라 작품- 흑백 또는 컬러 인화사진, 크기 제한 없음
디지털 카메라 작품- 300만 화소 이상
Size and Format:
for printed photos- Black and white or Color, None (there is no restriction on picture size)
for digital photos- 3 mega pixels or more

필름사진- 사진원본 우편접수
디지털사진- 사진파일 E-mail접수

1. 공모자 전원에게 소정의 기념품을 드립니다.
2. 심사를 통해 선정된 작품은 영화제 기간(8.8~9.15) 동안 전시될 예정입니다. 지방 순회전시가 끝난 이후에는 이주노동자의방송 홈페이지(www.mwtv.kr)에서 1년간 온라인으로 전시될 예정입니다.
3. 전시 중 가장 많은 관심을 받은 작품을 선별하여 별도의 시상이 있습니다.
4. 접수된 모든 작품은 개인 요청 시 반환해 드립니다.
5. 타 공모전 입상작 및 모방작, 합성사진은 제출을 불허합니다.
Note:
1. All applicants will receive a souvenir for entering the competition.
2. Selected works will be exhibited during the film festival, from August 8 to September 10, 2008. After the regional exhibition is done, all works will be posted on-line the MWTV(www.mwtv.kr) homepage for a year.
3. Prizes will be awarded for most well-received photographs during the exhibition.
4. All submitted works must be original and can not have been entered into other competitions; Any plagiarized works are against the law.
5. All submitted works will be returned by personal request.
